We found
that this hotel has some room for improvement and this why there was a low
rating. We checked in to Room 504 checked in on 4/19/13 to 4/21/13. The
front person said they are new and they do not know anything about the hotel. Rooms
lights and switches were not working. Called maintenance they fixed the issue
with outlet coming off the wall . The lamp worked but plugs did not work on the
lamp. Outlets were not convenient on each side of the bed so you could
charge things like cell phones. In
reference to breakfast we found the following. The contents of the food the
such as the vegetables omelet were from can and not fresh. Food was cold such
as the pancakes and French toast. The pineapple had gone bad. In addition, one
was not fresh and had a bad taste to it. In addition, one of our travel agents
had gotten sick after eating the breakfast.

front desk. Also on 4/22/13 1245 am front doors to embassy suites were locked
no one at the desk. When mentioned the doors being the locked the security
guard unlocked the doors. Our final comments are that hotel needs to be redone
with new colors and more light in rooms with better outlets. Employees to me
trained and management needs to look at how to do food preparation. Rick Dunlap
who is the manager did not take much interest in our feedback due to a low
rating. He stated he that will look into these issues. We will be back for
another visit to check the progress of the hotel.

We found that his hotel did not provide as good service as it should. We checked in in on February 15, 2013 Toni at the front desk did not do a introduction of the hotel.
He said he would put the breakfast coupons under our door and would be there in
the morning. They were not under the door when we woke up. Toni was not friendly. He did not tell us how to adjust the firmness of the bed.
The jacuzzi was not working and we were not informed about this on the website or when we checked in. February 16, 2013 we had breakfast in the restaurant . We got that was omelet cooked. Potatoes was were
cold. Waffle was good.

Congratulations to the Annapolis Westin Hotel staff and management. We visited in year 2013. We were very impressed with this hotel. The staff goes out there way to make sure that guest are happy. Front desk service via phone from room was fast and efficient. If you called for anything to the front desk they followed up to make sure that you got what what you requested. The maid service was very good and the turn down service was very good. We found the hotel was in in excellent condition. This would be also would be a good hotel to host events. This hotel focuses on amazing customer service. This hotel has
everything. We had no issues at this hotel.

This hotel needs to improve there service and the rooms need to be updated. We had one the worst visits here. We arrived at the hotel around 12:15 am January 26, 2013 Julius was at the front desk. Prior to my arrival I had spoken to the front
desk several weeks prior and asked for them to put me in a king bed. I was
given was 2 doubles.
Asked for a to king rate went from 99 to 109 at 1234 am
January 26, 2013. It was done by Julius.
In addition Julius wanted to charge us more money for the room even
though the hotel made an error. He stated that he would not keep the rate the
same.
We changed rooms and got a king size bed at 12:40 am. The
ac/heating fan in room 1201 was loud. Our customers or me would not be able
to not sleep in that room.
I changed rooms and was put in 1402 at 12:50 am. The
furniture needs to be replaced. See below. Also the chairs for the desk are
too low for the desk and customers cannot work at the.
January 26, 2013 at 330pm we called to get our room
cleaned. The front desk person by the name of Andriana said that house keep was
gone and she will have to check and hung up the phone 2 times on our agent with
our say. She was very rude. According to the note attached it states that
housekeeping is on duty on the weekends from 9am-5pm. We did not get the room
cleaned. We were told they had left for the day. This is a big concern because
our customers are not getting served and customers will not want to come back.
When I went down stairs I talked to the Andriana she was rude brushed me off. I spoke to Julius via phone.
Julius did not have an answer why housekeeping was gone
for the day. I asked Julius to see if he
would compensate for all the issues that happened and he said "NO".
Not a very good answer.
Our room 1402 still had trash in the waste basked under
the sink.
I spoke to Bryan Campbell and he is looking into all the issues.

We visited this hotel in 2011 and 2012. There were several issues with the
hotel. Since our first visit in 2011 the same issues have not been resolved. On
our last visit in October 2012 we still found the following issues. Beds are
old and you are not able sleep in them. AC units do not work correctly and
staff came to the room to fix the unit the first time but it was not fixed.
Lobby floors were dirty. Buffet Breakfast was cold and not cooked correctly and
we found bugs in the food. We have contacted hotel management and we are
waiting for a response on how they will fix these issues.

You will have to get use to being waited on. Great place for a weddings and honeymoon or just to to take a break.

We would like to congradulate the Herndon Marriot team on doing a excellent job on our stay. Rooms were well equipped and fairly spacious and updated. Location is great, lots of restaurants and movie theater attached to hotel. No noise from planes. Beds were comfortable. Front desk was helpful. We tested the staff and had no issues when the hotel was full. Breakfast buffet was good but service was a little slow.
